I wish Wayforward could be a little more free with Shantae, like how Yacht Club is with Shovel Knight.

There may be a reason holding WF back to do that, but...

The big problem, that WF has mentioned before, is that they don't really have a lot of disposable cash to make Shantae merch with.

The fact that there's two websites that mainly carry Shovel Knight merch shows that Yacht Club has less money issues and more offers, in terms of merchandise manufacturing.

The same probably applies for all of his cameos.

I could see her in tatsunoko vs capcom 2 (I would say marvel vs capcom 4 but that's never gonna happen due to the contract with marvel expiring.)

Looks okay to me. For some reason, I feel this might be what she would look like in Smash. Don't get me wrong, I'm aware of the whole ZSS thing, but I'd be lying if I slid never noticed Shantae shows off just a BIT more than her. MAYBE the vest would be a compromise. Just throwing it out there.

Looks interesting. I could see this as a alternate costume. But not for her default look lol. Even if Shantae shows a little bit more skin up top, her bust really isn't that big. They're...... very round yes.... but not huge lol If that makes any sense. Also, Palutena, you can always see up her dress and she doesn't even have a shadow under it.

I have the idea for an evil entity meant to be the embodiment of a rouge glitch in a video game to be behind the main conflict, and that's all I've really got.

I also think for that first one, it could her flying in her monkey form to grab a gem, then transforming back to perform a dance like in micro game in WarioWare D.I.W.

I know about that one, it's a bit complicated what I was planning to do with it and not fully fleshed out, but it would've evolved from both the collection of jumbled pixels it's known as and ectoplasm from the ghosts inhabiting the maze zone of Pac-Man's world (not the four main ones) into a sentient life form capable of corrupting living beings and eventually entire worlds, even some of the protagonists' allies, think of it being similar to the D Reaper from Digimon Tamers

I also remember it not getting off the ground because some of the desired indie characters weren't allowed to be used because their creators said so... or at least that was the case with Quote and Curly Brace. It was during the time when Cave Story was the flavour of the year, so people were really salty.
