I was watching JTails's videos on how to read your opponents. I recommend everyone watch those videos. But then something crucial dawned on me.
The purpose of this thread will be to list as many habits as possible that a player can show while you fight against them which you should pick up on in game. By doing so, you'll be able to download your opponent's playstyle and make proper reads instead of relying on hard reads.
The best of the best players will mix up their gameplay if it can be punished with excessive use, but when an opponent reacts the same way pretty much all the time, a mental note should be made to allow you to adapt.

For the following list let's assume your opponent is constantly doing one or more of these things, forming a habit. Please add to this list and let's form a huge list of habits that players can display which every player should look out for while playing:

-Rolling away constantly
-Tech rolling away
-Tech rolling closer
-Teching in place
-Avoiding projectiles by shielding
-Avoiding projectiles by jumping
-Avoiding projectiles by spot dodging
-Approaching with a certain aerial
-Approaching utilizing a certain projectile
-Approaching using a run-and-shield tactic
-Landing near the opponent with a certain aerial
-Landing while shooting a certain projectile
-Landing and proceeding to grab
-Not baiting out the air dodge
-Baiting out the air dodge
-Edge guarding with a certain aerial
-Edge guarding with a certain projectile
-Following up with a certain move in a combo (assuming it's not a true combo)

Feel free to add character-specific examples.

That's great! There are a lot to look out for. Can anyone come up with character specific examples that are very important to the current metagame?

Fox/Falco using illusion slightly above the ledge, Diddy kong monkey flip in neutral, samus double-jump fair off the ledge.

That's all I've got.
