Hey guys!

I just wanted to start compiling a list of percents of each character where energems can sweetspot easy. To do this i'm going to need some help compiling data. So my fellow wolves can you help me?

I'll get to work on it, but this will only be CPU's however, since actual players may DI.

These are rough estimates, just guidelines.

Wario: 45% via shine, 90% via D-air, 80% via B-Throw.

Mario: 50% via shine, 75% via D-air, 75% via B-Throw.

Luigi: 35% via shine, 60% via D-air, 50% via B-Throw.

Peach: 45% via shine, 65% via D-air, 50% via B-Throw.

Bowser: 23% via shine, 80% via D-air, 78% via B-Throw.

Yoshi: 45% via shine, 80% via D-air, 75% via B-Throw.

DK: 47% via shine, 80% via D-air, 76% via B-Throw.

This is a lot of data to pull up, I'll see what I can figure out.

I think it's hard to find because wolf is fast, has good jumps, and can shorten the side b, so unless they DI everything down perfectly it's not about percent it's a about character control to get in position.

Each character will get to a percentage where they are too far away for follow ups from shine/dair though. I'll see what work I can get done on it today, still unpacking my dorm room.

i just want basic percents where a side b can connect. So in a match we don't have to hard read it's more of a soft read.

for example shine to side b on x character at x percent equals a hit.

I remember wanting to do something like this with sh up air ( moving forward) > side B but never got around to it. It would definitely be very useful though

Once we get the basics down we can get into more detail, like here are your options; 'jump into the side-b?' 'shorten the side-b?' or 'wavedash back into the side-b'. Then begin to add when you absolutely cannot hit them, i.e. when they go past a certain percentage. It will take a lot of work to get all this. As you say though, hitting side-b isn't all about data; it's about the risk involved, DI and predictions.

once the list is complete we should move it around and sort it into weights and gravity so we can give suggested percentage range for each group. Making the data easier to recall mid match.

we're anxiously waiting for debug mode to start lab'ing or just not caring anymore ?
Bit of both really. Debug mode would probably give us more inspiration, I made all the basics and I'm not really sure what else I can do to be honest - I'm not even sure how useful the extra stuff I could do would be.
