The end of the 5th amendment?

Bush has signed a new executive order which many internet personalities are hailing as the destruction of the 5th Amendment. Here's an article about it which covers all the basic facts. The website itself is pretty renowned for an anti-Bush bias, so take most everything beyond the first three paragraphs with shaker of salt.

It's been pointed out that if the government were ever to exercise these powers, they could be sued in federal court by the person they use the powers on, but the countering argument is that the person could also be detained in a prison with their rights withheld.

Is this a serious problem? Is this really the end of the 5th amendment? Will the government use these powers for evil or good? Are Rogue Government and the other sites reporting this just spouting more bull**** conspiracy?

its crap like this that make me urge my peers to all vote Barrak Obama next year's election.

unfortunately thats too far away, and more damage can be done in the mean time.


to those not fluent in 'politicalese' in short, the amendment allows the government to block any transaction made by a person if they think they are involved in terrorism.

key word, THINK, and by transactions i mean buying/selling, cash withdrawls/deposits, GETTING PAID.


the reason people are saying this undermines the 5th, is that these actions can be carried out without trail, or court order, just on a military whim

You know, some easterner that was being interviewed related Bushes actions to that of Hitlers and saying that Bush caused 9/11 to take advantage of the crisis the same way Hitler burned the German flag.

I don't remember where it's at, but there was a website that took a closer look at the pentagon crash. Eye witnesses claimed that they heard the soun of a missle instead of an airplane and the hole in the pentagon was really circular and had no evidence of damage from the "airplane's" wings. An even more interesting fact, all servalance cams that recorded the incident were taken up.

You could say "well, it's just a website, what evidence do they have?" They do have comparison pictures of what a normal plane crash looks like and what the Pentagon crash looked like, and since you can find the Pentagon crash pictures easily, there would be no sense in modifying them.
