Here is your chance to tell us all about your favorite websites to go to, so other people can see them to maybe find cool new places to go on the Internets. Here are mine:

wikipedia.org: I spend hours browsing around this mammoth repository of knowledge, just soaking up the information.
xkcd.com: The funniest and most thought-provoking webcomic out there, but only if you get the jokes.
slashdot.org: News for Geeks. Lots of scientific discoveries, but mostly computer stuff. Includes quite a bit of video game news. Rather pro-Linux.

These three sites, along with very recently smashboards, take up most of my internet time. Warning: They are quite geeky, so if you favorite site is ebaumsworld, you probably won't like them.

Ok, now it's your turn! If your frequently visited sites are all porn sites, tell us your infrequently visited sites. If those are porn sites too, don't post anything! Also, no need to list smashboards or smashbros. Those are kind of a given. Have fun.

And by the way, you can post links to sites by going into advanced editing mode and clicking on the earth with a chain link icon. Just enter the URL, hit OK, and...voila! You made a link! Get to it!

It's not really advertising since it's not your website(especially no forums links) and usually you aren't involved with it, and it's actually not a bad way to see what other people do. I'm all for it, but if anyone does oppose it, feel free to close.

My big 5:
http://www.lewrockwell.com - my friend described this as his daily bread. I'm hooked.
http://www.smashboards.com - Well, I couldn't ignore this one.
http://www.cashcrate.com - see my sig. I actually earned $50 from it and it REALLY helps when I get into those panic about money moods.

The rest of my time is spent researching various things with music. I usually hop around various forums and music editorial sites.

I'm looking for a good political blog site that isn't one-sided, preferibly something that has both (aka two people write it, one writes a left side, other writes a right side). If anyone knows something like this, PM me. Or at least an economically conservative blog and a liberal blog, so I can read both to balance it out.

lewrockwell.com is an anti-state, pro-market website the basically compiles all Libertarian and anarcho-capitalistic stories of the day. It's worth checking out.

Music!!! Woohoo!

What exactly do you mean? I'm totally into music (the old people love it when I play my saxophone for them at the nursing home), but I've never seen forums or "editorial sites" about music. Tell me more, please! Musics and Internets are my two favorite things; combine them to make me super duper happy. Yourinteresting use of the word "researching" has piqued my curiosity, Crimson King!

Also, my favorite musician of all time: Jonathan Coulton! Listen to all his songs here. This is one of my most frequently viewed sites. A Jonathan Coulton single is featured in Valve's Orange Box. Go JoCo!

And I cannot believe I forgot to mention DEEZER! Deezer has pretty much any song you'd ever want to listen to. It's free, listen on demand stuff. I always have a playlist going in another tab.

Also, I am extremely excited about this post for some reason! Sorry about all the exclamation marks!

I have a couple of music message boards. One is general music stuff that I read to debate theory and style questions, as well as talk about technique. I haven't posted there in a while, so I need to stop lurking and post again. There are two classical guitar forums I post at.

A few sites I visit for guitar talk about all aspects of playing. Check out eighthnote.com (google it first); I think they have Sax sites. I plan to get back into Saxophone once I learn to circular breathe properly which is why I wanted to learn harmonica and didgeridoo.

www.pandora.com <---- Great music recommendation service. Not available outside the U.S. anymore, so those lucky enough to live there should check it out.

This is one of the best website for ppl like us....it contains audio files from most of the video games out there....believe me it worth the occasional click. I ve downloaded the music from Final Fantasay and several older games like Zool etc etc

So you have read Dinosaur Comics? What did you think?

EDIT: Yes, I now officially love Cyanide and Happiness. Thanks for pointing it out!

I figured I'd make a list of all the RSS feeds I have along the top of my browser (Firefox, if anyone cares).

Smash Bros. DOJO!! Latest News--you know what this is
The Official QC RSS Feed--Questionable Content (webcomic)
Penny Arcade--webcomic
xkcd.com--webcomic
xkcd--the related blag (blog)
The Dilbert Blog--Scott Adam's (creator of Dilbert's) blog about lots of funny and thought-provoking stuff
Dinosaur Comics--webcomic
Basic Instructions--very funny webcomic; try it if you haven't heard of it before
Ctrl+Alt+Del--webcomic
Bunny--webcomic

I just go from left to right each morning. It takes about 5 minutes, or more if I spend some time drooling at the latest Dojo update.

I wonder how much you can tell about a person just from what websites they visit most.

Just want to clarify: Don't post forums you visit or your own website as advertisement.
