I played in my first Smash Tournament on Oct. 1, 2011.

Even though it was probably a small tournament, I was really nervous. I've never played this game competitively until now. I went 0-2 in Singles (it wasn't even close in any match).

In doubles, even though I teamed with LoZR, we went 1-2 (I drug the team through the mud). Now, I've gone out and spent around $60 so that I can play the game all the time. I'm dedicating an hour a day to get better.

I'm too competitive for my own good, and I plan on playing at Apex. I'm going to try and update this daily to show everyone my progress, and hopefully, learn a thing or two from everyone. I've only been playing off and on for six months, but I'm going to get serious about this.

Wish me luck!

Just remember how committed you are to the game plays a huge part on how good you get. Don't be disappointed if you don't notice any significant difference in a month.
