Getting a Fox one when they release, as Fox has always been my favorite training partner in the Smash games so it only makes sense to me.

I'm not super comedic with names, I rather prefer "cool" names but also not bent on being original so I'm probably going with "キツネ".

So, I'm probably stupid for not noticing this sooner, but this thread got me thinking - Amiibos give us a nice workaround for a character like Wolf. We can get a Fox amiibo, set him to the "Wolf" costume, name him Wolf, and (this is the part I was not realizing before), give him a custom move set different from the standard set to make him a non-clone. We can even feed it equipment to tweak his stats in the right way so that he's truly different from Fox, and voilá. We more or less have Wolf back. He'll even have the right name during battles. We could do the same thing for Daisy if we wanted, and basically make a new "clone" character.

Granted, we can't actually play as that character, but we could also set up a custom character the same way.
