i think it will, if it has DS/DSI capability (games, download play) i believe game boy advance needs to be playable in order to be like the original DS!

please tell me your opinions.

I doubt they'll bring back backwards compatibility with the GBA, but they may put those games up for download. I personally think that the 3DS is going to be awesome, and I'm pretty sure they said that it would be compatible with all of your DS games.

the 3ds is beyond an amazing concept, it is the peripheral to buy of the 2010s. the 3DS store would have pokemon red version... compatible with pokemon black? 3DS is WIN
3d camera! better than buying one of those cameras that are coming out some time this year since you also get to play games on it! go Kid Icarus!

It will be backwards compatible with DS games but not GBA or older.

My biggest gripe with the system so far are the cameras. Most cell phones get a better quality picture than the 3DS (and DSi for that matter)

I personally think it's a good idea. Plus, the removal of the need of glasses put the 3DS in more peoples budget range. Plus Kid Icarus is coming back (Pit main, lol)! And the 3-D pictures sound nice, but I don't think it's the main selling point of the system.

are you saying that you have used the nintendo 3DS? you went to E3? i am soo jealous of you. they let you try out the 3d camera? wow, i am really jealous now... wait, you didn't did you? stfu.
remember that the 3ds has a higher quality than that of the DSi or the rest of the DS family.
