How much safer are they? I figured 3 (?) frames wouldn't make all that significant a difference, considering how much endlag they seem to have.

That's 3 frames less the enemy has to punish it with a DA or grab. Obviously it's still no more useful against Falcon, but it allows us to camp out characters like Robin, Link, and Yoshi better than we already do (in Yoshi's case, we have more leeway to shield the egg toss).

Sonic is an MU that's heavily affected, since that's 3 more frames we have to shield his side b.

Do lasers reset stale moves like they do in Melee?

What I have found useful about this buff:

doing a full hop and firing lasers up till the apex of the jump(I can sneak 2 in, have to test more) results in being able to land with no lag. As for now this is being able punish an opponent whos in the air from far away and immediately being able to approach after landing.

SH Triple Laser is not lagless but the reduced lag makes it a much safer pressure option. If your opponent is not sonic or falcon, go ahead and start the match with SHTL and you will more likely get free percentage.

Also, I cant remember but I believe short hop single laser is lagles and can be done continuosly, just a fun fact.

If you guys want safe lasers, you should check out this thread here: http://smashboards.com/threads/sheik-tech-c-bounce.409439/#post-19760600. It's all about how sheik can utilize this tech called C-bounce, but from my testing, it works great with fox as well (albeit no canceling).

Essentially this lets you shoot lasers while moving backwards, both in the air and grounded.

Ill try to upload some gifs shortly of fox using it.
