I love the c-stick so much I'm making a blog about it. It is the greatest addition to the smash series since the knife was invented to create sliced bread. Smash64 was a festering piece of meat out in the blazing sun compared to the brilliance of melee and brawl. Much like the blinding white towels at a comfort inn branch hotel.

It lets you do so many glamorous things. With it you can do smash on a shim. Flick that thumb and an instant smash is driving its way to your opponent. Even better are the ease of the acrobatics you can do in the air with your air attacks. You can do attacks in a 360 rotation as you drift in the air gracefully to the left or right without ever having to move the control stick. Imagine how much relief your left thumb must feel for being free do anything it wants without devoting time to making stupid aerial attack inputs when your right thumb can be enslaved to that purpose.

And OH! the survival you can be bestowed upon by the gods with that SDI or ASDI in melee. The freedom to ASDI with the c-stick while DI with the control stick is utter ecstasy. But that isn't all! After round 1 you are given the encore with buffered dodges and rolls. If that hadn't soiled you in your pants you can dash attack with it in brawl without having to wait fear of fsmashing against what is most certainly a heavily armored foe and dying because you were not quick enough to out pace the beast!

Oh!~ What glorious mechanic are you bonded to? Come! Share with us your stories in great and explicit detail <3

And Curses upon whoever decides to ****-stick it other than smash-stick in brawl's custom controls.

My C-Stick is a rebel.

Only works 1/4th of the time, 20% of the time being utterly useless.

Perhaps it was a defect upon birth or was grievously abused by a previous owner. Maybe you have been treating it badly too.

I hardly ever use the c-stick, even if it does Smash's in a whim.

I can't however tell you how it will on the Wii-U, that's why I believe alot of people complain over tbe Classic Controller Pro and simply want a GNC style controller.

Like I've said in the past, a USB corded GNC controller could be made by Nintendo or a 3rd party manufacturer if they find the need that GNC DLC content should be played with a GNC controller, but in all honesty I would find it so much different if I just used a CC, that probably why I'm puzzled as to why people really moan and groan over the Wii-U's lack of GNC compatability with it's controllers.

So far there has been a lack of explicit detail in the replies :( Safe or questionable replies are okay, but it certainly is not the same as explicit.

Anyway, I think the 2nd slider on the WiiU can work fine as a c-stick replacement. The general idea is to shove the stick in a direction for a split second. It's not like you need any finesse when dealing with it. Now, I am reminded of those grooves on the sticks. It's useful for aiming on it.

IMO, I don't care for the C-Stick. Is it needed for higher level Smash play? Yes, but there are two mechanics that can make the C-Stick useless: Turning around in mid-air, and being able to do BAirs/FAirs while going forward/backward and NOT losing momentum.

Lol, just dropping by to say that knives were not used to create sliced bread :) (as in your standard hand-held ones...)

Also that toasters were invented before sliced bread.

Just like lighters were invented before matches.
