i made this account solely to comment on how much I love nintendo and the smash community.

I have a son (now daughte), shes 15 years old and she is transgendered. She never fit in with the other kids at her school due to this, and was depressed. This year for christmas i bought her a Wii U and Smash 4. And I just have to say... wow.. thanks to nintendo for putting in a transgendered character in wendy koopa. My daughter has never been happier. And now she has the confidence to go out to tournaments and even made some friends!
