Testing needed: Dtilt tipper on a wall

I played against an Ivysaur on Shadow Moses today and discovered something weird. The tip of the Dtilt is a very light hit. I got the Ivysaur next to a wall and started spamming it, I was spaced just so that the tip hit him and nothing else, this brought him from 20-80% with no sign of him escaping. I didn't want to be a **** so I stopped after that, but I need help testing: I don't expect this to be an infinite, but how long will it last, and to which characters
