Welcome to Telephone with MSPaint!
If you know what the game Telephone is, then you can skip the next paragraph.
This is how the game is going to work:Telephone is a game that can be played with a small group of friends (at least 6 or more players would be recommended) in which one person (Person A) will think of a phrase and whisper it into the ear of Person B. Person B will then whisper whatever he understood into the ear of Person C. Person C will whisper what he understood to Person D, and so on and so forth, until the last person repeats whatever he understood to Person A.
Usually, by the time the message had passed through a dozen or so people, it is so different from what the original message was, that it had everyone giggling hysterically.
I, TWiNKatGC, will be the middle man during this entire game. I am going to pick an image in Google Images at random, and I'm going to pick someone to look at it, and describe the picture to the best of their ability using 15 words or less. I will use those 15 words, and PM them to someone who volunteers to draw them. After the person draws the image, they will send it to me and I will pick a volunteer to describe THAT image with 15 words or less. This will continue for about 5-10 images until I decide to end it, and I'll post the results in the second post. Then we can all giggle and laugh at how different the last picture is from the first.
Procedure:
- I will pick a random image from Google Images.
- I will pick 19 people from the forum. 10 Describers, and 9 drawers. First come first serve. Leave a post saying what position you want (whether it be an "Artist" or "Describer").
- I will pick a "Describer" from the list to look at the image and describe it using 15 words or less via PM.
- Once he/she PMs me with the 15 words, I will then pick an "Artist" from the list to draw an image using MSPaint or any image editing program using the 15 words given to me.
- The artist will host the image, and give me the link via PM.
- We will repeat steps 3 through 5 until I gather 10 images.
- When I get my 10 images, I will post them all in the second post in the order that I got them in.
- The game will start again, beginning with Step 1.
General Rules
-Follow the regular SWF Global Rules, obviously.
-Try not to make the image so big that it'll stretch the forum. I recommend 640x480.
-You have 24 hours from when I send you the PM to respond. If you don't respond in 24 hours, then I will ask for another volunteer.
-You can only participate ONCE per game.
-Don't waste my time. If I ask you to draw a puppy, don't draw me a picture of two naked people dancing in the forest. If you do, I'll ask a mod to infract you.
How to host the image:
Once you draw your image, save it, open up your web browser, and go to www.imageshack.com. Once you're in the page, hit the "Browse" button in the right side of the screen and select your image. Afterwards, check the area that says "resize image?" and in the drop down menu, click "640x480 (for message boards)". After that, hit "Start Upload".
When the image uploads, copy one of the two links that are given to you and send it to me via PM.
