What's the best way to recover from a hit? If I tech roll away from the guy, then I still get hit by the dash. Does the tech where you stand up where you are stop that? And how do you do that tech? Just press Z at the right time?

I keep getting hit by the Dash Hit + Dash Hit + Dash Hit over and over again even when I'm teching >.>

you have to mind game your enemy on which way your teching, or just tech the best way you can.

Never tech roll to an edge if you're too close to it, even the kirby noobs can catch on to it.

Yes, press and let go of Z before you hit the ground, just like Z canceling.

Dash hit + dash hits are kinda tough to tech, if they do that though just tech roll behind them, that will usually get them.

I hope this helps. Bye!

If you get hit with someone's dash attack, it's generally a good thing. Some characters can get small dash combos (Yoshi's occasionally gets up to 3 if you don't DI, which I don't :p), but the recovery from dash moves is such that if you hit the ground, use the quick tech-- like, the one where you DON'T roll-- and you should be good.

So basically, if someones uses a dash attack, respond with just hitting the R button: no left or right on the analogue.

Alright, I'll try quick teching/teching towards the player. It's just a habbit to tech AWAY from them. Stupid habbits are hard to break! :(

A bit random, but anyone know which move has higher priority? Kirby's Jump + A or Jump + Forward A

"..Unless some noob dashdance when they dash attack -_-;"

Uhhh... you misunderstand me, or the situation, or something...

After someone has used their dash attack and hit you with it, you are both affected: you must tech, and they are still in their dash attack animation. They need to wait 'till they're done the dash attack before doing anything else. Some characters' dash attacks take a little less time than others; in these cases, it's possible to have little dash-attack combos.

You can't dashdance WHILE in the dash attack animation. So whether or not your opponent dashdances makes no difference if you've already gotten off the ground.

For that reason, I would counter a dash with the neutral tech, because it's supafast. It all depends, of course, on your damage and stuff... but generally I'd say go for a neutral tech instead of rolling either way.

Teching is a good way to get away from your opponent, it brings a lot of mind games into the meta game!
