Teching Samus up-b without leaving the ground

Hello! I played against a Samus yesterday and was having some trouble pressuring her shield as fox (as we all do)
there were a couple of times where I was able to tech her up-b oos without leaving the ground, which enabled me to punish her up-b before she could even land. I was wondering if there is a consistent way to do this? Does anyone have any tips for consistently doing this? Thanks in advance -Evan

This is interesting. I wouldn't know, but if that's possible, then Samus should be given a vacuum effect in the next Smash installment. Perhaps this is only applicable to Fox, unless you have the opportunity to try with a different character.

it involves smash di in some way just not sure what
