Teching Falco's Dthrow with Fox?

I never play as fox, so I was under the impression that Falco's Dthrow could be teched easily anytime. However, I was watching the JGT6 videos again the other day, and noticed that Bombsoldier would dthrow > dsmash quite often to finish off foxes. Sure, that was back in 2005, but they were pros nonetheless and if it was techable I would think it wouldn't have worked as often as it did.

Is dthrow > dsmash guaranteed on foxes or something?

they have to DI away or crouch cancel i believe and then they can shine you out but if they don't DI or DI bad then you can chain dthrows or dthrow to dsmash

Yeah fox doesn't fall to the downthrow so he can't tech it, but he can shine before falco does I think and I know he can just DI away, so its pretty useless.

doesn't he fall down at really high percentages?

Btw. This is a pretty safe tactic, I see bombsoldier use it alot in his vids. If you dthrow as soon as you grab (giving the opponent less chance to DI) chances are you'll hit with a Dsmash or something else you may want to do.

Throw it out randomly, once in a while; it's bound to catch your opponent off guard in high-pressure situations. At around 120% and higher, Fox can tech Falco's dthrow.

Arent you a Luigi??? lolz I call it a Psuedo chain-grab....Keep throwin him down repeatedly...works on the inexperienced...Your best bet would be to do it twice then up or back because they are gonna DI in front of you...Bthrow to Fsmash or U throw to bair
