ITT: Discussions about possible tech skills that can be gained from the new smash.

Watching trailer at 1:00-1:04 looks kinda like a a wave dash of some sort.

Opinions?

I assume you have seen the the gameplay?

Currently multiple airdodges are confirmed, and based on other footage like this air dodges have no momentum change. That means no wavedash so far.

The only thing that people cannot make points on yet is if L canceling is returning.

That clip of Mario landing wasn't gameplay. It was a cutscene for the trailer.

So it's can't be used to argue wavedashing either way.

But I'm really doubting it returns.

There will not be wavedashing and L cancelling.
Anyone that thinks there will be is going to be very disappointed.

Just kidding, just kidding , but yeah, that's the trailer :p.
On Topic: I dunno if I would like to see wavedashing return, but maybe a new technique would be nice :]
