Yoshi's been able to grab the edge after a ground pound since melee so I'm sure he can grab on in brawl too.

... I mean, I mean grabbing the edge after a ground pound is obviously old news. I know that. I mean, has anybody tried hugging with ground pound? Like, actually initialized the down b FROM THE STAGE?

And if it's possible, does it have any real ledge guarding potential?

I get what you mean... but I think he just stops moving, it needs some testing
You may get what HE means, but I have no idea what YOU mean. Stops moving?

Also, shoot! That's the one thing I wanted to test and I totally forgot to test it! D:< wtf indeed.

Guess I'll have to wait for someone else to find this out:

Can you sweetspot the down-b even if you're facing away from the ledge?

I meant if he hits a surface the upward movement ends and he begins the slam...
