Team Tactis, Combined Force

This dawned to me while reading the "Deam Update" Thread.
What if you could have team attacks?

Mario and Luigi doing a double tornado, Mario jumps in his head and they create sort of a cyclone like links gale boomerang and pull people in to get a hefty dose of the mario brothers.

Link/Zelda using both their piece of the triforce, same goes with Zelda/Ganon Link/Ganon.

If Luigis super hero alter ego gets in, then he and wario man get a combined attack.

I thought this idea would be so awsome, team battles have become a major part of teh smash experience ( expecially now with brawls team campaign and such ),

what do you guys think? any cool ideas?
there hasn't been any rumors of any sort of idea like this, so dont get the wrong idea. this is just completely hypithetical and or fun. please be serious as well, even thoug i say that i know theres going to be a butplug of spam, but TRY to keep it serious.

heres some other cool ideas i thought about...

Kirby sucks up Dedede and shoots him out, and Dedede swings his hammer for an attack.

Mario back throws Bowser into a belly flop onto a character.

Pokemon Trainer / Stand alone pokemon combo (pika, jiggs, mewtwo)

Lucas / Ness, PK Thunder: IF ness gets in, it would be cool to be able to have Ness/Lucas to be able to help the other get back from a huge knockback.

This would open up so many new stategies. I thought this was jsut a really cool idea.

So please, share what you think.

I doubt it would happen, but it could be a seriously awesome idea. It really depends on how it's implemented, whether the team moves are effective, that sort of thing.

I've got an awesome one: Sonic's Spindash + Samus's Grapple Beam = Spiky Blue Flesh-Seeking Morningstar.

I don't like that teams have to be the same colored outfit. Why? Because you can't use Dark link, Fusion-Suit Samus, or other similar costumes.

well this would make the team factor have an advantage outside of numbers.(which it shouldnt). for example, if I were fighting mario and luigi team, I wouldnt be able to do a team attack so their advantage outside of numbers would be greater.

I think this would be an awesome idea, seeing as Doubles is having increased importance in Melee's tournament scene. BUT I doubt that would happen. At least, not until Smash 4. Not to mention, they'd have to think of combinations for EVERY CHARACTER, which could be pretty annoying for the developers unless they have some over-lapping team-attacks ala Project Justice.

Heh, this seems to stem from the same camp of people who were so sure that there were team taunts.

Man, me and my bud already have the best doubles team name. In melee I main Bowser and Falco, and my bud plays as C Falc, but he said if Ridley is in, Bowser/Ridley=Dragonforce. Even though Ridley won't be in and he'll have to be PT's charizard for it lol.

I don't know. I just don't think there are any more buttons left to assign to a team attack >_<

Sakurai would never do this... This goes against the fundamentals that make Smash unique. That's the sort of thing you would find in other fighters, you know, ones that don't require as much skill.
