Is it possible to do that? i was playing pm teams for the first time and i was really surprised why i hit my teammate so often and i realized its because the shield colors dont change... dunno if thats even possible since i just looked it up and it seems like brawl never utilized that

That's a moderately interesting idea that I don't think I've ever heard before. It sounds like it should be theoretically possible too.

It sounds like something that should have already been in brawl, period.
I'm suprised no one has thought of this yet, it's a good idea.

Sounds very possible with Gecko codes.

SSBMO got colored shields working in Melee with any color you wanted to and there's the darken shield color code that's been around since like Brawl+, but I'm not a coder so I wouldn't really know.

For some reason, VBrawl uses port IDs to decide the team shield colour whenever you have Team Attack (Friendly Fire) enabled.
In Project M 2.6b, this has been fixed by having the game use the team IDs instead of port IDs to decide which colour should be used.
