Make the Nature something that raises spattk. Yoou won't be able to outrun much with a
speed of 291 and give it psychic over Sunny Day, if not, give it a Heat Rock.

Gengar

~~
Nature: Timid
~~
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Will-O-Wisp/Hypnosis (haven't decided just yet, probably Hypno)
T.Bolt

Focus Blast over WW/Hypnosis ang give it some Wise Glasses.

Zapdos
~~
Nature: Timid (got him that way in LG)
~~
Roar
T.Bolt
Thunder Wave
U-turn

Pretty good, Ancient Power over Roar.

Rhyperior
~~
Nature: Brave
~~
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Mega Horn
Swords Dance/ Avalanche (again, haven't decided)

Rock Wrecker over Stone Edge, give it a Choice Band and Avalanche.

Alakazam
~~
Nature: Modest
~~
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind
Energy Ball

Focus Blast over Energy Ball.
Torterra

Wood Hammer

GREAT!!!

Stamping your library books.
Ignore Celebi, he has no idea what he's saying. If you want to go all-out offense, listen to him.

New team I'm tryin out...

Magmortar @ Heat Rock/Leftovers
~~
Nature: Timid Modest
~~
Flamethrower/Lava Plume
Focus Blast/Psychic
Thunderbolt (T.bolt from here on out)
Sunny Day

I'm new to Magmortar, but here I go. If you want to burn them, go with Lava Plume over Flamethrower, and if you care about accuracy, Psychic over FB.

Gengar @ Leftovers/Choice Specs
~~
Nature: Timid
~~
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Will-O-Wisp/Hypnosis/Energy Ball
T.Bolt

Use Will-O-Wisp.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
~~
Nature: Timid (got him that way in LG)
~~
Roar
T.Bolt
Thunder Wave
U-turn

Fine.

Rhyperior @ Choice Band
~~
Nature: Brave
~~
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Mega Horn
Swords Dance/ Avalanche (again, haven't decided)

You may want Rock Wrecker or Rock Slide over Stone Edge, but it's your choice. Use Avalanche.

Alakazam
~~
Nature: Modest
~~
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind
Energy Ball

I don't care. I'm done.

Torterra
~~
Nature: Quirky ((-_-;;))
~~
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Wood Hammer

Whatever.

Very offensive. You may want to add in more defensive pokemon.

Put in crescelia or metagross as your wall since they both have good defense stats in each defense stat, and they are both psychic, so that way you can have focus blast on magmortar as opposed to the psychic that has been recommended. crescelia is obviously better for this role, unless you like metagross' atk stat.

Hey, watch your words there friend. That's my Ditto that you're putting down... lol

Anyway, ODIN and I have been working on this team for a while and yeah, looking at it now a wall-pokemon would be pretty good the team. Or, lacking that, some kind of sweeper with decent defenses (that Metagross suggestion is probably better than what I've come up with so far...).

Anyway (again), that Zapdos is IMO one of his better choices. We kinda randomly came across it when we were looking at what Zapdos can learn versus what might make for a fun build. Luckily it didn't have a horrible nature (well, decent anyway) but we came to the consensus of putting U-Turn on it for fun. It's general strategy would be to T-Wave as many pokemon as possible and then U-Turn out when it sees a ground type or something that would probably kill it regardless.

Okay... So I've decided to drop Gengar for Dusknoir.

Can anyone help me out with a Nature and possible moveset please? Dusk' is kinda new to me. :-? The poison attribute on Gengar was killing. T_T It's a shame, I love Gengar.

I've never used Dusknoir, but I know a little about him.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Careful/Adamant nature
- Will-o-Wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Pain Split
- Thunder Punch/Ice Punch

Nature depends on whether you want a more offensive or defensive Dusknoir. Weaken physical attackers with WoW. Shadow Sneak for STAB, and with his horrible speed it's the only way that he'll be going first. Pain Split is his only recovery move besides Rest, and works well. Last slot is for more damage dealing. Not too sure about EVs, but you really need 252 in HP since he only has a base of 50 (I think).

back in socal...
dont go with dusknoir, his low Hp makes him not very good... go with gengar- his speed and sp.atk are really good if you EV train him...

I don't have time to go through everything but right off the bat I noticed some poor advice was given.

Do not put focus blast on Gengar over WoW or hypnosis. There's no reason Gengar should have four attacking moves.

Chill, i tihnk that you should read the more current posts first. If you did you would have noticed that ODIN is considering changing gengar for dusknoir.
lol, like I said I was in a bit of a hurry. I did skim the thread but the advice is still valid. If he is in fact "considering" replacing Gengar and hasn't yet decided, he can still use what I suggested. I think Gengar is generally more useful than Dusknoir.

titus, upon taking your advice and reading the last few post I see most people agree anways. *shrug*

lol, don't go with spiritomb.
I'd say off the top of my head that your best options for your tank/staller/sweeper, w/e you wanna call it are:
Crescelia
Metagross
Dusknoir
Gengar
and maybe Gardevoir who has a recovery move.

So Zapdos can't go on P:BR anymore.... :-( Now I need a replacement for him...

Considering Electrivire, except they're uber hard to come by. What would a moveset for Meta gross look like?

By the way; I'm gonna keep Gengar, but I'm gonna have a Dusknoir as a side pokemon; One I can switch out if I need it. I think it has potential. But what do I know?

Magmortar
Gengar
Ryperior
Salamance

Still two empty spaces that I don't know what to do with. :-?

Metagross wouldn't be horrible. I'm missing out on tanks.
