Just get it from gamestop most of em are having a midnight release. Department stores get them late i never know why though.

It just depends on their shipment schedule, the release date, and how early the game is shipped to retailers. It's definitely possible for some department stores to have Brawl shelved on March 9th.

I'm an electronics specialist at Target and we have pre-order cards already. I actually saw them today. But not every Target will take pre-orders. We have ordered the game and we will carry it, however it can be late. Galaxy was late when it came in so I wouldn't be surprised.


EDIT: Every Target should carry the game. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear. But not all of them will pre-order.

Yes, we sell M games, but some of the more...hardcore...ones take some time. For instance, Assassin's Creed wasn't in my Target until two weeks after its release because we wern't sure if it was appropriate.

They had Mario Galaxy on the day it came out, Tuesday, NOT Wednesday like how Wal-mart, and Target seem to like to do, sell them the day after. I know cause I had to go buy Galaxy somewhere else other then Gamestop the day it came out, cause all Gamestop had was pre-ordered copies.
