What do you guys think? I know a lot of smash players enjoy the 'Tales of' series and this game looks like it is intentionaly going for that Smash Bros. style.

It's for the PSP, which means I'll get it as long as it is released in the US.

Anyone else interested in this game, discuss.

This game looks like it will be so much fun, especially since its being made by the actual Namco tales studio. Unfortunatly I don't own a psp ;A; I must admit I'm less interested if top isn't well represented. (I somehow want to play as Chester)

Did they ever confirm that?
Namco Tales Studio seems busy with other games.
I was under the impression that it would be made by Alpha Team.

I don't know who to pick yet.
It's either Lion (you know they'll put this guy in), Stan, Shing, or Luke.

And I'll import this game when it comes out, especially since it has WiFi multiplayer.

Oh, and I love how they used "Coup de Grace" for the trailer music.

Yeah, I saw this a few days ago when the trailer was up'd... somewhere.

Looks like it might be fun. More fun than Dissidia (im probably saying that cause I hate FF anyway).

I'll get it if I wind up with a PSP by then. But I will go ahead and say I will be highly disappointed if I cant Delight Roll people with Estelle.

.... straight up, that's going to be my selling point.

I will be intrested to see what moves they give the characters and what the control scheme will be. I really hope it plays well.

I've only played Symphonia (one of my favorite games ever), so I wouldn't know most of the characters, but I would definitely want to give Lloyd a shot. There's not even anything resembling doubt on whether he's in. Too bad I have no other reason to buy a PSP. *Sigh* Oh well. Maybe I'll just go play other Tales games instead.

You could always import Tales of Eternia for the PSP from Europe.
Symphonia basically copied part of Eternia's story.

If anyone does get it, just don't import version one of the European version.

So I'm guessing there will be a lot of techs for each character.

Well, I don't have a PSP, so I can't import Eternia for it. I'm considering, once I finish my replay of ToS, grabbing DotNW, or maybe one of the GBA or DS ones.

But concerning the game, if the movesets are customizable like you said, perhaps it's possible to have T type Lloyd and S type Lloyd. Maybe I'll have to steal a PSP from someone or something, but I don't even think any of my friends have one. They either have a DS or no handheld.

Kratos has been confirmed as a playable character.

I really want Zelos, though. Divine Judgement hi-ougi is too good.

Also, I just watched the trailer again. I think I may have seen zelos in the background. Not sure though.
