Tales of Symphonia trouble

Ok ive finished this game before but now im stuck for some stupid reason

I'm at the part where you go into meltokio for the second time through the sewers

So far I've opened up two of the doors by spinning the wheel's.



However all of a sudden the machines that make the blocks stopped working. When i go up to them, the "examine" icon will not even pop up. Idk what's going on or why it's not working.
Am i missing something....?

are you sure you're going to the right spot? It's right to the left of the center where the blocks pop out. I still remember that cause I beat the game 6 times...
btw, if not, it's a glitch most likely, and you're f*****.

In a non-related matter, i saw a guy who looked like ken at a waterpark in hawaii, and on his nametag it said ken... But it wasnt him lol

I'm pretty sure they stop churning out bricks once there are too many bricks already on the map. Maybe you left an extra one somewhere.
