Well, yes tag teams

Just putting this idea out there

Okay this is something that could be added to the game
When you go the team icon you press it or go to the settings screen to switch it to tag teams one to four players can choose a secondary person after choosing their first person.
During the match the players could freely switch between characters kinda like capcom vs. snk or somthing else, the stocks of the character are shared

Alright, discuss.

I've thought of something similar to this, just that you would pick, say, for a five stock match, five different characters, and each life a new character shows up.

Hopefully they'll come up with all kinds of sweet modes such as this.

It's an interesting idea, but we'll have to see, I doubt they'd add it.
I think normal 2v2 are better.

If you were playing with 4 characters, then it'd be an 8 character match, which would be WAY to much.
If it was only 1v1, and each player could choose 2 characters, now THAT would be awesome. Kind of like what Sgt.Frog said.

Well, if they did have tag team modes, the players would probably have to come from the sky or make some appearance from out of the blue. I don't think tag team modes are going to be in Brawl anyway.

I think being forced to play a couple DIFFERENT characters at once would be good.

However, I would prefer just choosing a character for each life. (You could do this in Soul Caliber 2, no?)

Here's the problem with tag teams. The match starts. The other guy tags his other character because the match-up is more favorable. Then I tag in my other character because THAT matchup is more favorable. (Repeat until I get frustrated and quit.)

If there is some lag in the switch (like Zelda's transformation), then continuously switching could be punishable.

Tag team sounds fun but I like the idea about picking a character for every stock even better! ;)

Maybe they could make a rule that you can only tag every minute or something like that.

I hate being the bearer of bad news but this idea was brought up already two or three times.. one thread is "I Came Up With This Idea" discusses the same thing...but yeah. I'm all for it. Fun for Pros and fun for Joes.
