Come one, come all! On February 2nd The Southwest Wisconsin Technical College will be holding their first student-run Smash Brothers Melee tournament, sponsored by Video Games Etc. in Dubuque and the Business Professionals of America.

Set-Up: 3:30
Registration: 4:30
Tournament Begins: 4:45
Entry Fee: $10 if Registered by 1/31, $12 all others
Spectating is Free, Open to the Public

Prizes:
1st: $125 VGE Gift Card
2nd: $75 VGE Gift Card
3rd: $50 VGE Gift Card
Top Twenty Fighters: A Certificate of Achievement and an Engraved Mug

Rules:
Elimination Singles matches, best 2 out of 3, 4-stock, 8-minute.
Rock Paper Scissors determines stage pick order.
Self-Destructs count for 2 stocks.
Coaching is allowed, Unsportsmanlike Conduct is not.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS (Pizza will be sold from 5:30 to 7:00, Drinks will be provided for free)
CONTROLLERS WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE EVENT.
Clean up after yourselves and try not to get everything dirty, the center is for everyone to share!

Due to a snowstorm closing down the college Today, the Tournament has been delayed to February the 2nd. I am very sorry if this disrupts any plans and wish to inform that, in order to make up for this, there will be an on-site raffle with additional prizes open to the public.
