I've found that the lateral side-b (up-b and immediately tilt the stick to the side) lets you be farther away from the stage and still easily sweetspot. In addition, the angle of attack keeps your hitbox out in the open more. Has anyone who noticed this phenomenon tried this in a match and stopped an edgehog this way? I treid this out in both PM and Melee, and while possible in Melee, it seems easier to get the full lateral effect in PM.
