In a sense they did but they were getting better with the IP as time went along. Saban got it back and it was sucking like it was at Disney.

The old writers when Saban was at Fox were the true stars
It does seem like the people working on it, even with Disney, were pretty passionate about their work

Their plan for the Red Ranger special would have been awesome.

And the work they put in for RPM turned out something truly great

So since Smash 4 music hacking is going to be happening apparently by the time Corrin/Bayonetta release and you won't have to replace songs to add new ones, what songs are you planning on adding to which stages?

I'm definitely adding more Yoshi's Woolly World music myself because wow that game's music is gorgeous.

Just listen to this beautiful track
Gosh Smash 4 modding is already looking more promising than Brawl modding if we can have this much control with the music itself (Probably because Smash 4 was designed with future DLC in mind whereas Brawl wasn't so it probably had to be a bit more open then).

I'm certainly adding some more Wind Waker, Professor Layton and Ace Attorney songs when the time comes. ^^

Yep. Like I said, Disney had alot of hit and misses but were pretty helpful to the series. Saban is just held back by Nickelodeon.

Hopefully they strike gold with the movie

He was a fantastic musician. Why...?
Death can be cruel.

January 10 2016 - David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.

But sometimes, Death is merciful.

Yup. Smash 4 will, once Corrin and Bayonetta have launched, have 507 individual music tracks total.

And here's a video of the music hack guy who's songlist already has 960 songs, no replacements needed.

All he needs to work out left is series icons, toggling the original/remix tag, and some minor glitches on the my music menu.

It's a shame, really... But I'm glad that everyone brought it up everywhere I'm keeping an eye on.... It reminds me of how much we care for life... And makes me really glad I didn't take away my own tonight like I was thinking about doing....

But I digress, rest in peace David....

When Jason David Frank plays the character "Tommy" in Power Rangers, he screams "Hiyaaa!" when he attacks and the likes

Well, when he played the Black Dino Ranger, he still did that

...

He got a note from Disney telling him to stop swearing while he attacks. Apparently Disney thought he was hitting enemies and yelling profanities
Wasn't he also harassed by the entire crew for being gay when he did the first season?

All I remember of Bowie is Labyrinth, but I mightbe wrongvon that. It's a shame seeing anyone die to cancer

You sure you don't mean Billy's actor, David Yost? He actually is gay. I don't know what Jason David Frank's sexuality is, but he's probably straight or bi.

I find it kind of funny the guy that was the yellow ranger, even though in the US it was made into a girl, was named "Boi" (Pronounced Boy)

So the one named Boy was replaced with a girl

Edit: Wow, they are much more realistic in Japanese children's cartoons

This kid's dad is an alcoholic and a small time crook that went to jail

They'd NEVER mention those things in America

So... there's this new anime airing and it's in CGI.

The weird part is that it looks exactly like... well just look

Made by the same artist possibly.

Also Lucina in a ponytail is doing things to my heart I never felt before
Indeed, it's the same artist!

Did my own bit of research on that anime and it turns out the character designer is none other than Yusuke Kozaki, the character designer for Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. He also did the newcomer artwork for Robin and Corrin in Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U.

The animation studio is different from the one that did the Fire Emblem cutscenes, but given the characters were designed by the same artist, it's not surprising that they look similar.

More news on Sonic's 25th Anniversary.

For one, I do believe that render of Modern Sonic is new. Though I could be wrong.

Not too much information, but it does confirm multiple games (though we practically already knew), and goes into detail on various licensing partners for merchandise.

There's also mention of some kind of "design guide", which makes me wonder if they plan to release a book aimed at helping artists master the Sonic art style or something.

EDIT: Scan of new artwork.

Saw some people over at Twitter blowing a gasket for " dividing Sonic in 3" even though Boom is a spin off and stuff like this is expected out of an anniversary.

The way I see it, Classic represents the past, Modern represents the present, and Boom represents the future. Not in the sense that Boom will replace Modern Sonic but in the sense that Boom kinda started Sonic's "boom" out into other mediums besides games and so it will continue to be the front runner of that this coming year. It's a branding thing more than anything.

I need comforting, my gender therapy appointment was 2 hours earlier than I thought. The next is end March

...Has Classic Sonic's model changed?
I dunno if it's just the angle, but in the picture his head looks more

As compared to Classic's normal look.
It's literally the same render as the one below, but in the poster, Classic Sonic's pupils are adjusted to have him look at the "camera".

Dunno if that's what's throwing you off though.

There are plenty of Japanese works intended for children that have more explicit content (violence, sexual or mature themes) than what Westerners would allow in shows for the same target audience.

This is why certain series, including Pokémon, were censored when airing in the West.

Another example of this kind of leniency is in video games. For example, Smash Bros. is rated E10+ by ESRB in NA and 12+ by PEGI in Europe. Reasons include violence and some suggestive themes. In Japan? CERO rates it as A (meaning, for all ages).

Of course, Sakurai did say they had to tone down characters such as Bayonetta and there are some edits to Palutena's model exclusively in the Japanese version, but even so, they are still suggestive, along with other fanservicey characters such as Zero Suit Samus. Both Palutena and Bayo's trailers have camera shots focused on their attractiveness when the characters show up.

The very same game is seen as appropriate for all ages in Japan, but only seen as appropriate for older children/teenagers or older elsewhere.

This doesn't mean Japan is that lenient, as games such as Xenoblade Chronicles X and Fire Emblem Fates got C ratings from CERO (meaning ages 15+) solely due to the amount of sexual content. A lot of anime also air in nighttime programming due to more pronounced violence and other mature themes that what would be allowed for morning or afternoon time slots.

RIP David Bowie. Wonderful musician who's been one of my favorites as far back as I can remember. Tragic to see the foul hands of cancer take yet another great person from the earth.

Love from a girl across the coast who should be doing her media class work. xoxo

Rest in peace, David Bowie

What's the name of the anime?

For real though, red velvet is hard to get right.

I once had red velvet yogurt like three years ago and it was really gross. It turned me off from the taste for a while, unfortuantely. I might try it again.

Ever try Ice Cream cake, Lady Anna?
It's got Fudge, and Cookie Crumbs, and Ice Cream, and the synergy between warm (Warm Fudge being hugged by the Cookie Crumbs) and cold foods (Ice Cream) makes it SO good~
You gotta try it sometime, I believe Dairy Queen makes great ones if you can find one around where you live :4pacman:

If there was a Sonic Generations 2 that worked in Boom Sonic how exactly would they go about it? They can't port over Rise of Lyrics controls and design. The disc is held together with scotch tape. And the 3DS Boom games don't a big unique mechanic compared to classic's spin dash or modern's boosts and homing attacks.

Classic: Platforming, Strictly 2D (Spin-dash / Peel-Out)
Modern: Mix of both (Boost / Homing Attack)
Boom: Exploration, Strictly 3D (Grapplethingy and Lost World kick [Not from Boom, but it's still Combat so it counts])
Just my thoughts :4pacman:
