With the ending of PM. I'm actually working on a video explaining the actual possibility/case for a Melee HD.

Trust me. I know it's still a pipe dream. But I want to draw light to the reasons that it could be a profitable idea for Nintendo.

Not really, when the character roster is a HUGE step back from the latest game, and I'm sure wavedashing and such might be removed, as they were glitches.

Ok, has anyone been playing project m with the new characters? I'm trying to install it, but there is one thing missing, I don't know what to do with the Project M Codeset.txt file. Does anybody know what to do with it?

If I get any of the Gen 1 games it's probably Blue because it's what I had as a kid and I want & and I can't get that on Red or Yellow

Pretty sure you can get both of those in Red.

You get used to the weird Yo-kai designs once you play the game, it's part of the charm of Yo-kai Watch.

I dunno, to me they seem like the knock-off toys you find when wandering around Chinatown. I think I'd rather have an interest in the game before deciding to spring for it.

And my problem isn't so much with butthead's design, as far as creating a ghost based on an ass it's pretty tame, I just find the concept of a monster who's whole gimmick is farting kind of juvenile and gross. Even if it is based on some Japanese creature or something. I think you'd probably have an easier time convincing a 12-year-old boy to embrace that guy than you will me...

It's essentially a Earthbound monster-collecting RPG. As someone who played Mother and Undertale, I was hooked with the game. You can call it so many things to make people attracted to the game.

I dunno, these just seem more childish to me. Earthbound is bright and quirky and cute, but also incredibly dark at times, and its enemies reflect that. I haven't played Undertale, but I hear similar things about it. I hardly have an expert opinion on the matter, but to me YW just seems more one-dimensional and watered down, and like I said a while ago, fifteen years ago I would doubt its ability to endure the competition at the time.

But to each their own. If you enjoy it and others enjoy it that's great. I don't really see what the big deal is though. Which, to be honest, is something my oldest brother said about Pokemon at the time.

It's good, and damn wanted to be a meddite. Then I don't care who I become, or when I become someone lol. The style is good, and good luck with this gym. Gardenia is tanky in Platinum.

It's absolutely nonsensical to remake Melee and use the Smash 4 physics engine; I know Sakurai is a baby about competitive play but that's business suicide. There wouldn't be a reason to play an HD version of Melee from any perspective at that point. All you'd really get is some of the content that didn't make the transition to Brawl/4. You lose the competitive scene, you lose a large portion of the sales. Casuals aren't going to buy into Melee HD because there's less functions than 4, so you need a campaign that would convince them that there's reasons to buy it other than nostalgia+collecting. Toting Melee's more intense, jarringly different mechanics as a selling point is better than just marketing like, Smash 4 with less content but sentimental value, which gets you nowhere.

At least it'd fix the ugly-*** models in Melee. Looking at you, Yoshi, DK, Bowser, and Indian Laundromat Owner Ganondorf.

I dunno, these just seem more childish to me. Earthbound is bright and quirky and cute, but also incredibly dark at times, and its enemies reflect that. I haven't played Undertale, but I hear similar things about it. I hardly have an expert opinion on the matter, but to me YW just seems more one-dimensional and watered down, and like I said a while ago, fifteen years ago I would doubt its ability to endure the competition at the time.

But to each their own. If you enjoy it and others enjoy it that's great. I don't really see what the big deal is though. Which, to be honest, is something my oldest brother said about Pokemon at the time.

If it was a one-dimensional game, then I wouldn't have been excited about the game in the first place. ;P

It's not as dark as the others, but it does deal with relatable real life events like parent arguing and kids watching adult only shows. Jibanyan's and many other Yo-kai backstories can be especially pretty dark too, in the games and anime. My suggestion is to watch a few episodes of the anime to get a good grasp of what the franchise is about.
