Well, as far as I know, that one skill is Enemy-only at the moment. There is supposedly a scroll item that teaches it though, but as far as I know, that hasn't been released yet. That being said, after Warp and Copycat Puppet, I doubt they want to potentially break Archers or allow them to use that skill in multiplayer.

I believe it's used for Boss!Takumi
Because otherwise he would be a joke
Though I don't see how it would break Archers considering Mages outclassed them completely in Awakening

OK, OK. I'll moan and groan, but if they make it in I'll love 'em like the rest, even if I was adamantly against them prior to their reveal. I don't hold a salt like some people.

It's just that if you want me to support a character, that character has to dance pretty hard for me. I used to be a total Ebeneezer Grinch when it came to Inkling back before Splatoon released, but once the game actually proved itself I let my heart of ice melt into a puddle of ink.

Too as its hot garbage against projectiles since it does absolutely NOTHING. Now Corrin's Counter Surge is absolutely disgusting. The sole fact a jab can get anyone kill and it kills at 40% when Hyper Smash Shulk couldn't go that far and that ridiculous range makes it a true terror.

It's like you have to grab everytime when you fight Corrin.

It's actually been remade more than once. The first US games are remakes of the original releases, then there's Yellow, and finally FR/LG. There's literally 4 versions altogether in that sense. I agree we don't need it remade again for quite a while, but G/S/C/HG/SS have nothing to do with it.

Now this is a good point. I'd love to see a story rewrite. Not just "lol Gen 1 is awesome", but because the Mega Evolutions completely changed what we need of Pokemon, and would be fun to rewrite the stories to incorporate it. They already implied it could work with Red's Charizard X in the other Pokemon Anime(the very shortlived one). It could even be based around that to a degree.

Um, they were highly different. The US releases did more than just change sprites. Who you could get was heavily changed, the actual gameplay had to be remade due to various glitches and such. Yellow had a story overhaul to match it with the Anime. FR/LG, well, added a new playable character, as well as tons more Pokemon to get, and story changes too.

Literally all 4 "variations" were pretty different. The original Red/Green(Red/Blue in Japan are updated rereleases of it, just as Yellow is as well, which is an update of Red/Blue) were rather different, including what Pokemon you could find, different attacks, and more.

To note, FR/LG are actual remakes. Red/Blue(US) is just a variation of Blue(JP) using Red/Green's exclusive Pokemon. Yellow is an updated rerelease with clear differences. They're all clearly the same story overall(with some differences among Yellow and FR/LG respectively), but saying they're practically the same game is misleading. Especially since all 5 US games alone(RBY/FR/LG) have a difference in Pokemon and story changes to a degree. We never actually were able to play the regular Red/Green in English, so the US got 3 variations(not counting what is literally Red and Blue, or X and Y, which are a little different from updated rereleases. Yellow is pretty much akin to Ocarina of Time: Master Quest, and FireRed/LeafGreen is pretty much OOT 3D. That's the ideal way to look at it how different they were).

I don't see how Pokemon US should be considered a "remake" of the JP release. That's more akin to game patches in physical form but with the difference of us never receiving the original. Either way, that's irrelevant to the context of KingShadow's post anyways..

Also what is this about RBY/FRLG being so short by today's standards? The pacing is perfectly fine. The game length isn't that far from the other games, honestly... The last thing I would want is to bloat Kanto. Simplicity is key!

EDIT: Unless you're talking about post-game, then I'm all for it. Even though the Sevii Islands was already plentiful of content. Didn't it also had a battle tower or was that just Emerald?

The biggest let down in BW2 is the fact that I can't fight Hilda/Hilbert like there from the same region and with bw2 being a direct sequel it could of worked

A) The Scientist Whose Name I've Already Forgotten screamed "gonna be evil" from the start.
B) Iris. Iris just doesn't fit as a champion and besides the theme the actual match was very disappointing. This is coming after having the entire twist of Plasma Castle leading into the fight against Ghetis which is one of if not the best final boss the series has seen.
