The fact that none of the franchises added (Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Bayonetta) came with an Assist Trophy, as with all other third party series in the game.

We could have had Chun-Li, Sephiroth and Jeanne as potential assist characters for each series. All three are quite important characters for the games they come from and it would've been interesting additions to the AT line-up.

Just another reason why all three should return next time. :^)

Tho personally I would choose the Lumen Sage, Jeanne has too many weapons to choose just one set.

The fans wanted to see her get Smashified and Omni wanted to paint her...doesn't really need anymore reasoning than that...

and yes I agree that they should focus on characters that haven't been portrayed in a similar semi-realistic style to Smash yet...but at the same time it's refreshing to at least see his interpretation on the character, not just in his rendering but seeing a different pose as well...

No street fighter,final fantasy 7 or bayonetta mii costumes are another thing im disappointed about.Especially since Tifa,Barret,and sephiroth fit perfect.Some goes for Ken,Sagat or Balrog.

I have to admit, after they emphasized the Heihachi and Virtua Fighter costumes alongside Ryu, I was surprised we got no Street Fighter Mii costumes alongside at some point. And I was definitely disappointed in no Final Fantasy costumes.

GG's I guess. The tournament could be improved, specifically by only allowing FD stages. One match was decided by the stage hazards on 75m, I got shot to death by the ships on the Orbital Gate..just wasn't fun being killed by those.

I could've done a lot better, I feel, if I didn't join when we had 25 minutes left. Alas I was a fool

But overall, it was a cool tournament and Dustin was a great host.

I should probably start getting more collectables...as big of a fan of Metroid as I am, the only offical 'Metroid' product I have (besides the games obviously) is the ZSS amiibo (can't even find Samus ;_; )...
