I never like really pushed for Wonder Red or anything.

But I was hoping we'd see the return of this.

Wonderful 101 has my favorite endgame of any game i've ever played. It's long, there is a huge build up, tons of awesome fights, crazy set-pieces and just generally does the job right.

It's also the only ending I can think of where I was both determined (in this case to button mash) while also laughing a the same time.

Like really. Fly Me to the Moon and Moon River are on a whole other level of licensing issues considering they're actual songs and not just video game songs. The amount of legalities about that, which would also differ depending on each country's own laws, just aren't worth the trouble. It's the same reason that the song's not on the official physical Bayonetta soundtrack in the North American release.

Wow, that really is troublesome. That probably would've costed TONS due to various legalities. Not to mention the fact they had a very small team.

I had not even played FF7 but I freaked out when it first played. Now that i've played FF it's even better seeing all the references.

I've watched it about 15 times since and I still get giddy when the intro starts to play.

Bowser Jr.'s Trailer was just powerful overall...especially when the Koopalings emerged from over the cliff...I actually got goosebumps, despite actually caring little for the character...

Duck Hunt's trailer was a nice nod to old time Nintendo gaming having all the nintendo icons in their 8-bit form roll in then transform into their brand new HD appearances then show off the infamous snicker hound for the first time in 3D...

Cloud...of course, just the shock factor behind it alone was enough to make you triple take...Once I heard the music I couldn't believe it was real....even during the gameplay footage 'Is this actually real? Is this really happening right now!? I'm not imagining this?'

Mega Man: Absolutely amazing trailer, I'm not even a huge Mega Man fan, and I got so hyped for his inclusion.

Pac-Man: While not the most impressive of trailers, seeing Pac-Man revealed after all of the hate he got during speculation was very satisfying.

Palutena: Some people find the trailer boring, but I really enjoyed. My only real disappointment was that they showed Palutena right off the bat.

Cloud: Pretty much for the same reasons you said. No one excepted him.

To this day, Little Mac. No doubt in my mind.

Keep in mind, not only was he my single most-wanted character since pre-Brawl, but the timing was another factor. For those that weren't here at the time or don't remember, there were rumors going around that they'd reveal Diddy and Dixie as a tag team, like what was planned for Brawl. No one wanted this. Diddy hadn't been revealed yet, we were due for a newcomer, and it was right on Valentine's Day of all things. It seemed perfect. Add in Tropical Freeze releasing soon at that point, and it seemed to have some weight to it.

Then the trailer starts. I brace for disappointment. Then the silhouette takes a boxing stance and I stand straight up. It pans over to the arcade machine and I'm damn near ready to scream. And I keep silent, mouth agape, for a minute or so, right up until it finally appears: "LITTLE MAC PUNCHES IN!" and I ****ing shout. After all of these years, he's in.

"It's your time, Mac. Show'em whatcha got, baby." And the build up. Running/Countdown is still my favorite song to ever be in a Smash game. That, with Mac Jolt Haymaker-ing into the ring while the song starts, right before getting into the main melody as Mac beats the ever loving hell out of Dedede and other fighters? With Doc narrating the trailer with one-liners? I can't remember, but I wouldn't be surprised if I legitimately shed a tear or two. To this day, it's my favorite moment in Smash history. So many people, including myself, went in expecting disappointment for one reason or another. And in the end I leave with my single most wanted character.

Mega Man's is the one that kicked on the hype, I still remember screaming when I saw his helmet turn on
Greninja for being my favorite reveal since the game's announcement at that time and he just looked damn good

But Robin's will always be the best, even being Awakening styled, it came at the time Gematsu was the most strong and revived the speculation that had been long dead.
The trailer itself was damn good too and they chose great tracks to accompany it

Really depends on context.

Most hype: Pacman. Just listen to the roundtable. It gives me chills every time to see the father of gaming enter Smash.
Favorite style: Duck Hunt's. I still cannot get over 8-Bit Mario's finger wag.
Personal favorite: Wii Fit Trainers. I thought it was some weird crossover and did not even think it could be a Wii Fit character. Then...enter WFT. It's hilarious and reveals a character I love.
Most surprising: CLOUD STRIFE

Favorite DLC trailer is Mewtwo's. I never thought he'd ever actually return, and I was literally screaming while calling my friends watching it.

Without a doubt - reveal trailer would be one of my favourite Smash trailers. I knew it would be Cloud as soon as I heard "Opening - Bombing Mission," and during the livestream of the Direct talking about Final Fantasy Explorers, I actually thought
"I don't think anyone would have a problem with Cloud in Smash Bros now..."

- I didn't expect it to be K. Rool once I saw Pit and Palutena talking, and when I heard the woman's voice, I wasn't sure who it'd be until she appeared and saw Love is Blue. A bit of a recording, but the reaction I had was "Oh, my!" when I realised it was Bayonetta. A very pleasant surprise, and I got the best opportunity to get familiar with her since I was saving both games until after my exams, and probably why I enjoy playing as Bayonetta so much, since I'm almost finished with Bayo 1
- One of my most wanted from the early days of speculation, and seeing him in that neat artstyle for his trailer was awesome.
- Of course he was leaked, but still one of my most wanted! I quite enjoyed seeing him in action.
- We were all expecting Chrom, but no. 'Time to tip the scales!" What a big surprise!
- I was happy to see the Miis, and the JoJo styled fight between Iwata and Reggie was quite fun to watch! We miss you, Iwata...!
- 'Roy, mah boi!"
- A little weak because I had gotten Roy and knew it was inevitable after seeing Ryouma, but after seeing him in action and also a chainsaw wielding dragon, I slowly began to sing along with the remix of 'Lost in Thoughts All Alone'!
- Welcome back, Mewtwo.

I actually joked with my friends about Cloud being in Smash after they showed Explorers. Fair to say that we were pretty shocked when it actually happened.

My favorite trailer is Shulk's, but some of the execution in it was pretty meh. CG Shulk looks really weird. That also made me kinda butthurt because Robin's trailer was pretty much flawless with the Awakening style. The gameplay part of the trailer was fantastic though.

Spoiler: Scorpion

Scorpion Gets Over Here!

A surge of fire appears from the ground, then makes its way over to a stage. In the stage, Little Mac breaks Ryu's shield, then attempts to KO him. However, a fire attack launches Mac away. Scorpion latches onto Ryu with his chain while calling, "Get over here!" He throws Ryu up, then takes a fighting stance.

Spoiler: Sceptile

Sceptile Grows In!

Greninja is beating Charizard badly, when a Pokeball is thrown onto the stage. Sceptile hops out of it, and intercepts an attack from Greninja before launching him away.

Spoiler: Bandana Waddle Dee

Bandana Waddle Dee Makes His Point!

Little Mac, Captain Falcon, and Donkey Kong are having a punching contest to see how far they can launch Sandbag. Donkey Kong goes first, taunting, then using a fully charged Giant Punch. Falcon goes second, taunting and using a reverse aerial FP. Then comes Little Mac, taunting and using a fully charged fsmash. While waiting for the results, they all get knocked into the air by a Megaton Punch from Dee, who waves.

Spoiler: Krystal

Krystal Joins the Staff!

King Dedede and the ICs are a hammer team, fighting Ike and Cloud as a sword team. Palutena is watching on a nearby platform. After the hammers defeat the swords, Krystal jumps in next to Pal, and they proceed to defeat the hammer team.

Spoiler: Black Shadow

Black Shadow Comes From the Dark!

Dedede, Samus, and Fox are racing. Dedede is on a Big Wheelie, Samus is in the Gunship, and Fox is in an Arwing. Dedede does a spinning flying hammer attack to knock away Fox. Samus blasts away Dedede using twin lasers. Samus goes to the finish line, but right before she crosses, a bomb explodes, destroying the Gunship and sending her up. Another vehicle crosses, hidden by the smoke. A heavily injured Samus falls down in front of a shadowy figure, who stomps her out of the way and laughs. It is shown to be Black Shadow.

Spoiler: Daitoryo

Daitoryo Plays His Cards!

A visual timeline is shown of everything Nintendo did before it started to create games. The first thing is playing cards. The playing cards then disappear. A few seconds later, the other things begin to rapidly disappear. The timeline collapses, and Daitoryo is shown, doing a Hanafuda attack.
