7pm PST? Alright, but as a heads up I probably won't be able to post in a heavy capacity until later as that's the exact time I punch in for work. Not that much happens during the Day 1 fest if you know what I mean.

There are two phases, each typically last a minimum of 24 hours; Day & Night.

During the Day phases most players can only post in this thread and must vote on who to lynch/kill when the phase is up. Mafia players, however, can communicate with each other through a special PM group created by the host. You can freely change your vote or vote to kill nobody that day. Be sure to make it clear who you're voting for so that there is no confusion on the part of the host or other players. Ex. Vote: Swampasaur

During the Night phases players can only communicate with each other through PMs (they must have the game host as an invite). Mafia roles also get to choose to try and kill off a player of their choice. Typically most player skills are used during this phase.

These are the general happenings of each of the two phases, without taking player skills into effect. If you are dead you are forbidden to post within the thread or within any created PMs as to not give clues/spoilers to other players. Depending on the roles that are in play, the host may create a special PM for dead players to communicate with each other and root for their teams.

It is not mandatory to post during each phase, as certain roles may block you from doing so or it maybe apart of one's strategy to survive, but it is asked that you stay somewhat active as to be polite to your fellow players, your team, and the host. Inactive players are usually auto-killed after a set amount of time.

ok so since this starts at 3am for me......when do the day phases and night phases start and end? So I know...

if im not active at all it might be because some days I have both work and college, and even if just work i will come home very late like 11pm. wednesday im not home from 8am till like 11pm haha but during college there's chill time that helps.

Day and night phases will start at the same time.

For example, this day phase starts at 7:00 PM PST on 1/7/18.

That will go for 24 hours and end at 7:00 PM PST on 1/8/18. That's when the night phase begins. Which will go on for 24 more hours. Then we switch.

And so on.

That make sense for everyone?

It was an average day for the citizens of Swamp's Hunger Games town. They were just trying to figure out what to change the town's name to. The current name doesn't role (HA) off the tongue. Just then, they all heard a scream!

Swampasaur, the leader of the bunch, lie dead in the middle of the square.

"Wow, what a poser." said Red, the other leader.

But wait? What's this? A note lay on the body.

"We are the mafia! We're going to get you. Like we got this tool. Sayonara!"

The town members looked at each other solemnly. Looks like they got a problem.



The first day phase of this mafia starts now.

It will last until 7:00 PM PST on 1/8/18.

Basically, just discuss things in the thread and try to find out who's who and who does what.

Be sure to make votes clear and visible.

Moreover, here are some extra rules for everyone.

• Lynch Locks will not take place. You can vote and/or change your votes until time runs out.
• A tied lynch will result in a no lynch scenario and will simply transition to night phase. (That said, no lynches aren't always a good idea, often they're a bad idea).

Though it's not something I personally do, you can vote No Lynch instead of a person. I just don't do that because it kind of gives the mafia a free kill in my eyes.
