Super Totally Not Weird Question

I was practicing today, and I noticed that I was screwing up my dashes after SHFFLs. If anyone has ever had this problem, it is INFURIATING AND YOU JUST WANT TO END EVERYTHING AROUND YOU. But I digest.

I realized that my hands had been really sweaty today, and I had constantly been wiping them and my controller with paper towels to clean them off. This led me to wonder... do the oils from your hand that end up coating your controller actually become part of your muscle memory? By this I mean you learn on a controller that is constantly greasy and sweaty, and thus transitively create muscle memory that is reliant on that greasy, disgusting coating.

If this is the case, does anyone know of a way to lacquer the buttons on a controller so that I can wash this thing off? I hate the feeling of greasy hands.

As for the grease, I think it's too minute to change anything. I just wipe my controller with baby wipes before going to a tourney.
