Super Smash World Tournaments (S.S.W.T)

Hello members of Smashboards forums. I'm SSWT-Rose and I'm a representative of a new idea in the making called Super Smash World Tournaments (or S.S.W.T for short.) This idea intends to create a solid infrastructure in the Smash Competitive Community by supporting existing Tournament Organisers and Players as well as helping new players into the Smash Community.

How so you ask? We intend to fulfill these goals by providing funding to existing tournament organisers, so that they can improve the running of their own tournaments whilst introducing a card system that we intend to implement to Tournament Organisers who choose to accept funding from us.

These cards will display various information about players from tournament results to fun things such as the character they've played who has taken the most damage overall.

He is a member of my team in the UK. There is no other forum, just our Facebook page. We've started out acting behind the scenes which is why you wouldn't have heard of us.

Hate to tell you, but I don't think you read the first post correctly. This is neither a clan or tournament, but rather a system that will start to be implemented in the near future.

The cards work by linking to a database which holds tons of information that will allow users to be ranked, keeping tacks of tournaments attended, etc. The card will also allow users to pay entry/venue fees directly from the card. So a user can top up £50 on their card and use it over the course of several tournaments. The aim is to standardize the price and set up of tournaments so that it is easier for people both inside and outside the smash community to attend tournaments and just have fun playing smash. That's just a general overview of the system.

Ok so I must apologise for my absence regarding this thread but from now on I will try to play a better role regarding things about the work we do.

For now pretty much, I just want to hear some of you guys' thoughts on the new Smash Bros. Game announcement with some of the trailers shown at E3.

Personally I'm pretty excited for Bowser since he's one of my favorite Nintendo characters next to Wario. Any thoughts on other characters or possibly new characters and whatnot?
