A couple changes for smash 64 that will affect some people differently than others.
  • If you guys want footage, Smash 64 will have to be streamed (or recorded) separately from the main stream for the April 17th and May 18th event. I understand about necessary exposure and wanting to expand our viewer base, but my goal with these tournaments is to get out as early as possible considering that it is sunday and people have work in the morning (including me, I would rather not stay till 2am if it can be helped). Chibo has to switch out the equipment in order to stream which takes about 25 - 30 minutes to get the stream up and running, and then AGAIN when we want to switch it to another game. With Melee / Brawl / Project M a single wii can always be connected to the stream setup. That being said, Cobr mentioned to me that commentary is very important to you guys, no matter what the stream / recording setup. I will bring my mixer and microphone and software to each event and if someone wants to use it for their stream / recording setup than I will provide the equipment for commentary to make up for it.
  • I am dropping smash 64 from the smash sundays after the May 18th event in favor to go back to my monthly friday / saturday events. I'm sure you all will agree that it is way too crowded with all four smash games and smash 64 suffers on setups, both friendlies and tournament setups. Smash 64 will now be at EVERY friday night / saturday night tournament that I do (red bank rumble, comboed on entry-arrival/brokenhitbox/whatever) now. And I will have 6 setups of my own provided (and you guys can bring more ;) Most of you should like this better because the initially sunday was NOT good for most of you guys to attend, but let me know.
  • Venue Fee is now only $10.00 for tournament only! (no arcade game access). And you can always still get the $15.00 for unlimited arcade gameplay or upgrade to it later if you change your mind.

I support whatever decision you make Dan! I know that you're doing the best you possibly can for all of the games.

Kid came into the store today and said he would bring his 3 friends for smash 64 only and was really looking forward to sunday.

(tear drops)

Well not a kid, a man my age.
