Aha, yeah, that's actually what I was referring to XDWell...
It's like March all over again.McLeod literally JUST NOW announced that the game will be launched in the first few hours of the 25th.
In other words, he's running on Valve time.
So they shoulda said the release date was the 25th. Ugh, I hate these constant broken promises. I mean, anyone with me here? Is my frustration valid? I'm not extremely angry, it's just annoying to have expectations and then at the last minute hear a "Actually, change of plans". Like please, this has happened more than a few times, ya think they'd have learned by now? Not trying to be rude, just...some constructive criticism. Plan ahead, don't feel the need to promise something and rush yourselves just to get people excited and end in disappointing them as usual... Sorry, am I coming across as mean? I really dont mean to.McLeod literally JUST NOW announced that the game will be launched in the first few hours of the 25th.

The broken promise (atleast, this time) actually WAS an accident. So they shoulda said the release date was the 25th. Ugh, I hate these constant broken promises. I mean, anyone with me here? This one does play a lot better.i remember playing the first super smash flash. it was pretty broken and hard to control, tbh.
Yeah I understand that, but I just want them to have a more "just in case" attitude about this from now on. Like instead of saying "The game will be out by (date)" say maybe "We're going for (date). Hope everything goes smoothly!" and then in the first hour of that date, if things haven't gone smoothly, update people. I actually waited for this update last midnight while waiting for the pic of the day. I wasn't forcing myself to stay up or anything but after going to sleep I expected to wake up and maybe it would be updated. Nooope. I wouldve liked to hear a "Hey, somethin messed up, we're working on it, might be a few hours" near the beginning of this release date not just before its about to end. I just think it would be more professional that if you announce something will be out by that day, then itll be out by the first 10 minutes of that day.The broken promise (atleast, this time) actually WAS an accident.
The fine folks over at McleodGaming have actual jobs, life, ect. to attend to, as well as their loving families, and simply couldn't get the Game/Website 100% finished on time.
Plus, it's better when they said that it'd be at 1.0 by BRAWL'S RELEASE.
We only have to wait a few hours for v0.9b, not YEARS.
GUYS! THE DOWNLOAD IS UP NOW! HURRY BEFORE THE SITE CRASHES!
I lied
tried it out , it definitely does. i probably should have tried playing it fullscreen with a controller thoThis one does play a lot better.
Trust me dude, this game is way more worth it, it has all of Brawl's mechanics except for tripping and I think bouncing off of characters but it's still faster and the hit stun and physics are just right so if you have fun improvising combos in Melee and Project M then you'll have a field day with this one. From the looks of the first Smash Flash, I didn't think it was something to behold. So looking into this trailer despite quite possibly using a keyboard, this looks a HELL of a lot better and definitely more fun!
I haven't seen anyone faulting them saying they are bad people/lazy/heartless(at least from what I've read). They just haven't been so punctual with their releases and this comes to no surprise. Time and time again Cleod has had trouble uploading the latest demo and has apologized for taking so long each time. There's no reason to hate on them as much as there isn't to hate on anyone commenting. Peace bro.I see MOST people on this comments section don't understand that some of the devs are not as heartless as they think they are (key word: most people). C'mon, it's not like they were just born to create ssf2 for all u lazy people to play. They're human, too, possibly more humane than some of you.
.....does any1 hear bullets or is it just me? Kappa
No, you don't understand. They have jump characters and didn't include the big one. It'd be like having NiGHTs in smash bros, and not Sonic, Donald Duck and not Mickey Mouse, or Lloyd Irving and not Pac-Man... oh wait...Uh,no,Luffy is a shonen jump character too, making your first argument invalid, sorry.
