Super Smash Bros Ultimate Skin Discussion

A big thing for me is the skins in the Smash Bros games. A big part of me choosing a main is their skin choice actually. I love playing the Links in this game and have ultimately (pun intended) decided to choose Young Link purely because his tunics are more pleasant to look at than BotW Link. The same thing for Dark Samus and Samus, for me.

I agree. Although I wouldn’t choose between 2 characters off of skins, they can be a turn off. For instance, in Brawl, all of Game & Watch’s skins were expressive, but now they’re all dark and murky and does not look that good. I also get frustrated with Bowser as they always remove my favorite alt every (Smash) game.

Everyone has their favorite skin and it's funny to see someone use the default skin because that either means it's not important to them or that's truly their favorite.

I miss the fire Mario skin.

See my thing is some characters just have bad/uninteresting color options. Like Sonic is just 7 shades of blue with bracelets, Pac-Man is the same way.
I wish that there was some way to make your own pallets like in some other games, it's not like a huge issue but it would be a welcome inclusion.

I can confirm this.

Some characters are definitely required to have limited color options because of contracts to their owners.
