Super Smash Bros. Representation

I just want more Donkey Kong Country representation. We should at least get one hopefully two characters(K Rool and Dixie), but Donkey Kong Country helped the SNES big time. Even the new country games are selling very well, so I think they deserve way more representation.

Seriously, the only way I'll start caring 'bout KI overrepping is when it overpasses Pokemon.

I mean, I'm fine with having Pokemon in Smash. But if I wanted Pokemon to be the majority of the roster, I'd just play Pokemon.

Then again, everyone pretty much defends the presence of their favorite series and bashes other upcomers for becoming overrepresented. I would play Super Fire Emblem Brothers to no end and not care a lick if there wasn't another series represented.

But while there are other series', F-Zero, Metroid, DK, and Mother definitely need more representation. Mother has far more memorable items than a simple Franklin Badge.

I like all series, and I do think they're being represented well (aside from F-Zero, Metroid, Wario and Yoshi), but I'll only care about overrepping if they pass Pokemon.
Seriously, the Pokemon franchise is HUGE.
Overrepping it would just be odd.

I think that the series that are not represented enough right now are Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Kirby, Star Fox, F-Zero and Metroid. Some of the other series are fine being underrepresented because their characters haven't been announced yet, like Wario, Ice Climbers and Earthbound. Everyone else (Pokemon, Kid Icarus, Punch-out, Animal Crossing, etc.) is well represented right now and none of them need to be represented any more.

I think Sonic should get just a little more representation. He is a third party but he is also a veteran this time round. A few items from the Sonic series wouldn't hurt. But yeah, as you guys have said, I hope the other Nintendo franchises get a lot more representation. Especially Donkey Kong and Metroid.

What items could even represent the Sonic Franchise? I'm not too familiar with any Sonic games after SAB2, so I have no idea what they'd add.

Ooh, I completely forgot about the barriers! Those would be really fun items, haha. Wouldn't the Wisps not work (changing character form mid-match) and the Chaos Emerald either (Shadow Assist)?

The bullet bill is an item ingame so wisps could work. If you didn't know, the bullet bill actually transforms the person who picked it up into a bullet bill for a second sending them forward real quickly.

The barriers would be a decent one, even if it's just the standard green barrier and it absorbs a single hit or something.

Sakurai does not care about representation. As long as whatever it is works he will put it in.

I wish everything was perfectly represented, he treats pikmin horribly and treats dk and metroid pretty bad as of now. In Brawl I thought star fox was over represented, but i no longer feel that way

my beef with the representation is this:

Rosalina is in the game, playable, when neither Toad or Bowser Jr , who are more important than her, re playable: Bad representation of the series

Robin and Lucina are playable despite FEA's protagonist not being playable, which is Chrom. Bad representation, again.

besides that... well, i think the series should get around as many stages as they have characters.

Things like the Unira Item(Clu-Clu Land), Pilotwings stage(Pilotwings), Dr. Wright Assist (Sim-City) etc.

Yeah, I still have my PSD for "Other" from earlier while I was creating the Pac-Man one, so that's going to be the next one I do.
