Smash Wii U Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Release date confirmed for 2014?

I was checking out the Smash Bros. GameCube controller, when I noticed that it would be released on December 31, 2014.

Then I checked out this:

It also says the same date.

Judging from this, I believe that the game will be released either before that date, or on that date, since Amazon usually takes about a month from sellers to officially place their items up for sale.

Thoughts on this?
