I'm pretty sure Chibi-Robo will be an Assist Trophy, it's not big enough to be a character, but it's also big enough to at least appear in some form, since a new game from his franchise has been released or is going to (I don't remember).

Yeah I'm seeing it go that way too.

It's not too bad though, it could be a stepping stone towards playability in a future smash Bros.
