If Brawl can't be updated to fix gamebreakig moves and glitches, What can stop Nintedo to produce a re-release of Brawl in the future? It could have anything from new characters, stages, music pieces and a much more refined online mode (leaderboards, online records.)
Plus the loss of useless parts of the game no one uses (Masterpieces, anyone?) Though this should be done when the issue of storage space within the optical disc and the Wii internal memory is reticified.

Sakurai doesn't want to, and Nintendo doesn't want to do Smash without him, at least for now.

The fact that they would have to create a game all over again which takes like 1 to 2 years, rather than nintendo creating a system online which you can download characters for Brawl, which would take a month to 2 months.

... And, ya know, storage space on the Wii.

512 mbs of flash memory is not enough for DLC, which Nintendo has already admitted. Evidently they're also working on storage space aid, which they will evidently discuss at E3.

Its not required to make it from scratch. All they have to do is modify the original game. If not for bonus content they could at least fix some characters. No input from Sakurai. Its that simple.

Nintendo has stated time and time again that they won't do it without Sakurai.

Obviouly its not possible if Nintendo has stated time and time again that they will NOT do it without Sakurai.

They will not do that ever.

Seriously, will people just come to grips with Brawl, and either play it, or play Melee? For my sake?
