Nobuko Toda, the MGS composer, has only worked with Nintendo in the past once before. Her job was remixing/remastering the Metal Gear Solid music that they ended up putting into Brawl.

I'm going to grasp at straws here and say her inclusion means she'll be working on more MGS music and, thus, Big Boss will be playable in Smash 4.

Looking forward to Masafumi Takada. Disappointed in no Shogo Sakai.

While this is mere speculation on my part, Sakurai began to follow all of the above composers on his Sora Twitter account about a year and a half ago, included in his sudden influx of people he follows, was Shogo Sakai. I would only hope this means that he is a Wii U composer, or has at least been approached.

I'm personally really excited to see what Masashi Hamauzu has in store for Smash 3DS. I'm a huge fan of the FFXIII series, and I loved his work there.

I'm hoping Tomoya Ohtani will be involved in the Wii U version, and he almost definitely will be - He was the composer of Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours, and Sonic Lost World. Since Lost World is getting a stage on Wii U, I'm sure we'll be seeing him there.

I'm right there with you. I loved the XIII series as well. Can't wait to hear new arrangements from Hamauzu as well. This might be the biggest soundtrack for Smash and this is just the 3DS version.
