I am a longtime nintendo fan. Been playing since the NES days. I couldn't wait to get my hands on mario galaxy when it came out. How could this game not be absolutley incredible? Mario in space? How cool!!!! So much anticipation and hype had built up inside of me. One of my best game memories was getting Mario 64 on September 27, 1996. Simply one of the most revolutionary and greatest games of all time. All of the giant landscapes and variety of settings and tasks, all completely in 3-D, all completely unprecedented. I got mario galaxy, completed it, and felt ABSOLUTE, SHEER, UTTER DISSAPOINTMENT. Wow, the level designs suck. The worlds are so limited, it feels like you are always confined to a small area, and limited to certain places, not to mention such linear design. The game just felt so much smaller, with much less of EVERYTHING compared to its predecessor. Mario 64 was about 30 times better than this game. I thought that mario galaxy would blow mario 64 away and then some, but actually galaxy ended up looking like a rushed failed experiment in the end. I find this game unacceptable to nintendo standards. Sure its kinda fun for about a day or 2. But there is no replay value or anything (and the original play wasn't good either) because the worlds arent unique and your really never feel engaged in the game. The stars a so easy and uncreative to get in this game. Overall, I felt like this game was overall very boring and couldn't believe that game websites had rated it so high, time after time. This game was a major step backwards to me for nintendo. Come on, I thought your focus was on quality. BOO nintendo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

On the other hand, I felt like Twilight Princess was overall a good game but they could of made the boss fights harder, more upgrades availible, and a higher replay value.

Does anyone feel the same way as I do about this horrible sequel to Mario 64, mario galaxy?

I don't Galaxy is a bad game but the only thing I didn't like is that I didn't have that feeling where you could just walk around doing whatever you want and forget the mission like I had in Mario 64.
