Welcome to the Just Dance support thread for Super Smash Bros Ultimate!

Here we will discuss different things about a possible character from the Just Dance franchise. Whether it’s moveset concepts or design ideas, you can share anything that comes to mind about the characters here.

I - Introduction to Just Dance
Most people know what Just Dance is, but in case you don’t, I’ll give you a bit of info on it. Just Dance is a dancing game series made primarily by Ubisoft. You choose a song, and then try to copy the character on screen. There are currently 22 games in the series, not including spin-offs like Just Sing and Yo-Kai-Watch Dance.

As you can see, the characters look slightly similar to Wii Fit, with them both having full pale white bodies. But they would have very different movesets. While they would also be alike in being non fighting characters, one is dancing while the other is using fitness-related attacks.

II - Moveset List
None as of now, but I’d be glad to hear your ideas and put them up here if I think they’re good for the character!

III - Supporter List

IV - How they would work
Now, not any video game character can get into Smash Bros. It needs a few things to make it possible to stand in a fighter’s game. But we know that something like this wouldn’t be a problem for Sakurai. We already have Isabelle and Wii Fit Trainer, so we shouldn’t have to worry about something like that.
But that’s not really anything to rely on. What’s something else that a Just Dance rep might have which makes them a better fit for Smash Bros. This may have been obvious, but the music.
But there is one more thing to consider. Ubisoft was able to get those songs to put into their game. That doesn’t mean Sakurai could just transfer them to Smash. But the thing is, Sakurai doesn’t need to get every song from every game. In fact, he only needs about 8 at most and everyone would be satisfied. It would be a hassle, but it’s not impossible.
The character would also need to mean something to the fans, but that’s already covered. The first game came out in 2009, and has been popular since. Just about anybody born before 2009 has played it at least once. But most people have played it many times, and it has been a part of their childhood.
It is also as popular in Japan as it is everywhere else, if not more popular.

V - Conclusion
And that’s everything. Even though a Just Dance rep (or Just Dancer, as I like to call them) isn’t as likely as some other possibilities by any means, it’s still possible enough to where it shouldn’t be ignored. So now that I’ve got everything out, what do you think? I know I said this before, but let’s be honest. You skimmed through it. Any moveset concepts will be put up by me if I think they match the characters. Goodbye!
