Samsora and Ally are 2-2 in Loser's Finals at the moment. Really even play so far.

And Ally SDs.

Samsora gets the reverse 3-0 to double-eliminate Ally

Trevonte vs Abadango is a perfect example of how the Sheik - Mewtwo match up should be played.

Trevonte was patient in neutral, and gave Aba respect. When he found an oppurtunity to get in, he immediately swarmed and gained as much stage control as possible. Mewtwo is then forced offstage, where his ledge get up options can then be rejected by Sheik (because they are terrible) and then the cycle repeats.

But at the end of the day, A few risks and mistakes in neutral cost him the match.

is is everyone ready for the inevitable discussion on how good peach is?
and it is really not common knowledge that peach loses to mk?

So does Samsora just not know how to DI/SDI the UAir/UpB chain or is the missed tech --> death an actual thing on Peach?

So apparently MK can still death combo from near 0 on Peach, GnW and Rosalina regardless of SDI? Is there anyone else?

I feel like Sam could had did a little more to avoid those up air chains but that MU is just terrible for Peach. Grats to Aba, Sam did very well regardless.

I mean...you have to follow the DI/SDI now, and the Uair chain is only guaranteed on light, floaty characters.
So what you're saying is the Smash game considered the bastion of balance has a character that invalidates half the cast at mid level play where the bulk of the player base is.

Got it.

We are talking about MK and not Cloud, right?

the lesson from clutch city is if you main a character with a mu that is not only in theory bad but also in practice that bad, you need a character that covers it.
that was a good peach player. (first peach to beat ally I think) and then abandoned mad him look helpless. matchups matter people.
ps if you want your regional to be respected have commentators that know what's going on. clutch city had some bad ones.

Curious - Did Samsora attempt to SDI, or are floaties unable to get out of the MK Ladder?
