SumabatoX was a SSBB tourney series in West Japan [Osaka] held by 9B since about early 2010. It has been the starting point of many top level players' offline Brawl careers [Kakera, Otori, Kie, Edge, Cross, Aki, ...] and one of the longest lasting tourney series in smash history, running for nearly 5 years now. Today is the day of the final SumabatoX tournament with about 220 entrants competing in the second largest bracket in the history of japanese SSBB. The doubles and singles events have already ended.

This series should not be forgotten. It's a shame that few people in America were interested in this event (or even knew that it was going on).

EDIT: An incomplete bracket, for what it's worth. From this (and the known matchups) I deduced that the previous doubles champions finished 13th.

If you check the japanese thread, thanks to @ Kimidori Kimidori placings have been updated up till top 32. PLEASE UPDATE!
