Subspace not comparable to adventure mode

Consider adventure mode in melee:
Any character could be selected and would go through the same series of stages and transit areas, fighting the same people.

Think about what we know of the emissary:

-"The protagonists form teams based on the developments in the story, and the characters they encounter join their team."

Seems as though you have a few people to choose from at the start, then you save either zelda or peach, who becomes part of your team. Pit sees an explosion in his basin (functioning as a crystal ball) and decides to help the heroes. From there on you probably fight against metaknight at one point

Point being: I don't think the SSE will be an adventure mode for every character like in SSBM, it will be closer to a singular story mode which gives you a bit of many characters.

I've always imagined SSE kind of like the Lego Star Wars options - Story (with characters that should be there) and Free Play (with characters of your choice). But, I suppose it's more than likely they won't have it.:(

We don't know much about it right now. But I really think there will be a mode where you can play with any character.

Do you have to make a negative opinion on something you haven't even played yet? o.o

On the update, it did state that the higher the rewards are in regards to difficulty. I'd like to think the harder the difficulty, maybe the longer/different the story?

yea they should have 4 single player modes
Classic(several battles random 1 after another)
Adventure(go through stages and do battles like ssbm)
All-star(battle every character 1 after another)
Subspace[name not final](like a story mode go though and change characters as the story goes like naruto clash of ninja 2)

And this is why there's a classic mode.

How you begin with only one then find more characters as you progress remind me of Tetris Attack on the SNES.

I think that you will start out with your main character and the story progresses you form teams with other characters. Then, as the story progresses, you would make friends with the other teams, so on and so-forth. On a related note, I think that once you beat the Subspace with all charcters or something, you would be able to replay it with any character on your team.

Adventure mode got old fast

Maybe if they had levels like they did of Mushroom Kingdom for Kirby and Samus

I can barely stand doing Adventure Mode, it's just classic mode with intermissions that I already played thousands of times

I'd rather play the leet co op huge side scrolling adventure of Subspace
