the problem with this is that fox(in my opinion) isn't for beginners because of how you have to get used to his overall speed and falling, but once that is taken care of you should be fine, and you need good reflexes for the reflector

exactly...see, he gets it. why don't you guys?

I dunno if simplicity is allways the best way, crap, mayb it is, but usually the simple way IS the ABSOLUTE most BORING thing you can EVER do. I'd rather sit there and waveshine link back and forth, tossing SHL's here in there and even attempt every shine spiking possiblity and LOSE 5 STOCKED than camp with gayzor and UpSmash and WIN ending 5-0. Simply that, you can call it the best way if you wish, (even though I think tech skill ownz all..) but its no fun, NO FUN> Lol? and isint that wuts games all about? HAVING FUN! Lmao, Tech winZ.

~Dont forget to taunt.

You're never going to get good at this game with that kind of attitude.

Lol who said anything of "lookin kool" I said its fun, lmao, which it is. Besides that just 1 example =p. Taunting is allways fun, say its not!

EDIT - lmao, ok yall r takin my comment to the next lvl. Im not saying I do this, im not saying that at all, im not saying I waveshine all day back and forth to 200% to just get KOd and instead of just comboing into Usmashes and such. Im saying Tech makes the game fun, and that was just an Overexagerated example, im sry I posted that.

What Cort said.

Learn to win first.
Then have fun with it later.

You're kind of going off on a tangent with what this thread is trying to say, Mr. LaserBust.

Having fun is great, in friendlies. But when it comes down to tournament play the game goes on a completely different level of fun that many people don't have the chance to experience cause of their attitudes and views on this game.

Thread blew up fast 0.o

You have a point Brookmangz, but threads like that aren't going to stop. =/

Also, maybe people aren't trying to learn things like that to get better. Maybe they just want to try it out, and use it when messing around, like most already technical players do. Notice how tourney videos of technical players are a lot less impressive in most cases technical wise? FastFox would be a good example, if he's as technical as he claims.
May as well practice something like that if you really want to play the game, but have no one to play.
Whatever.

Sorry to repeat anything, i stopped reading after cat pictures and stuff.
I'll leave this open for a few minutes to see if anyone says anything I guess.

I think the best example of my point would be Shiz vs. Cobal on yoshi's story.

in regards to the last few posts:

*throws controller down after being shine spiked by random fox player vs my falcon*

i just play a lot get the hang of it, and then go wild, i think most of the stratigies out there are for those who can't handle the heat on there own, but knowing your style as ANY charcter is really good to know so you know how you should stick to fighting, but yeah only try fox after you are pretty experienced or you will get pegged as the definition of OWNED, same for characters like falco (though not as much as fox) that is what i tell my friends, being a fox specialist myself
