When people spoon feed you their opinions as if it were fact. It seems this community cannot embrace or live with what other people think. It has to be
"Play my game, Smash 4 is ****"

You know what? To someone who's never heard of American Football, it probably looks like a bunch of guys mindlessly running into each other while tossing around a lemon-shaped piece of pork.
To someone who's never heard of Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros. or pretty much any other fighting game, it probably looks like a few guys mindlessly smashing their fingers on a TV remote.

Please. Smashers get loud and obnoxious enough as it is.

Also, I'm not a fan of speculation, though that's easier to avoid. I don't really care who shows up in the game. It's more important that the game is good.

I've seen several posts like that and the posters weren't kidding.

On topic, there are quite a few things that go on in the fandom that really irk me, but listing them all would be a chore. For the sake of being brief, the biggest pet peeve I have about this fandom is just how divided it is on the whole. Some of it is partially due to Masahiro Sakurai's actions, but other times it isn't.

I can't wrap my head around people who say they "main/secondary" more than three characters. Personally, I've always believed that no matter the Smash game, one has a single main and can have up to two secondaries. Unless you have dedicated your life to (Insert Smash game you play here) game like Melee's M2K, Smash 4's ZeRo, and etc. player has, there's no way that you play the game on a serious level with "x>3" characters.

Also, on a less serious note, the disgusting speed of Brawl and Smash 4 PM 3.6's Beta. I died when I saw Fox's landing lag nerfs.

I think it's because some people don't take the game as seriously so for them, mains are characters that they enjoy playing rather than have the most understanding with.

Also, balancing for Fox is always warranted.

Tier lists don't take into account player skill though, imagine high tier characters as high skill multipliers, and low tiers as low skill multipliers.

Like Diddy has a skill multiplier of like 2, and Zelda like 0.8, but the better player will usually win in the end.
